You know that list of "must have" wedding photos that most couples give to the photographer in advance of the big day? Yeah...we forgot to make a list like that. We planned every detail of the wedding to a T, but giving the photographer a list of photos didn't even cross our minds. Our photographer did a wonderful ... View the Post

There hasn't been much happening on the blog the last few weeks (blame the new puppy!), but it's like with kids... when they are quiet you need to worry about what they're getting up to. And while it's been quiet on the blog I've come up with the crazy, last minute idea to jump into the One Room Challenge again this spring. Sesame Street Birthday Party Ideas
I am relieved happy to report that our second attempt at Beckett's birthday party was a huge success! {If you missed all the drama, you can read the full story of why the first party had to be cancelled, leaving me in tears.} This past Saturday, we managed to entertain 30+ toddlers without too much chaos, and I heard more than one little boy declare it "the best party ever!" on his way out the door. Now I fully realize that this is one of those "you say that to all the girls" ... View the Post
Water Bottle Storage
Do you ever flinch as you open one of your kitchen cabinets because you expect something to come tumbling out at your face? That was me with the cabinet where we store our water bottles. Once upon a time, I had organized the cabinet using baskets. That worked well when my boys were using mostly sippy cups, but as we transitioned to water bottles that are bigger around that the sippy cups, they no longer fit in the baskets very well, and we ended up with a scary situation like this...
