Since I couldn’t mail a Christmas card to every reader (though I would like to), I thought I would share our card virtually!
Happy Merry 2014! The Rathbuns – Scott, Angela, Beckett & Cooper
In September, Scott and Angela spent two weeks in South Africa on safari with the Big Five, wine tasting in Cape Town, and diving with Great Whites. The boys had their own safari in Denver, spending lots of time with their grandparents. A great time was had by all, and we can’t wait to take the boys to Africa some day! Sawubona!
Cooper is 18 months old and has the sweetest personality! His vocabulary is exploding and we are excited to hear what’s on his mind. He loves cars, trains, and airplanes almost as much as he loves hats, socks, and shoes. He is always happily singing and dancing, and he begs to be tickled. He is also the most charming little boy you will ever meet – blowing kisses and winking at anyone and everyone who glances his way. Most of all, he adores his big brother and imitates everything with a smile. After all, where do you think he learned how to charm the ladies?!
Beckett is almost three and is the most thoughtful little boy! He loves books more than anything, and wants desperately to learn to “read like a teacher.” He is constantly singing and making up voices and after his performances on the dance floor at his uncles’ weddings this summer, we are afraid we might have a future wedding crasher on our hands. He loves being a big brother and takes such good care of Cooper.
