This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Hobby Lobby, which is one of my favorite places to shop for seasonal decor. As always, all opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting the brands that make this blog possible.
The first thing that caught my eye was an entire display of white and gold Christmas trees of all shapes and sizes, which are part of a Hobby Lobby Christmas collection called “Modern Gold.” I gathered together a few of my favorites to see what they might look like along a mantle or an entry table.
I love the mixture of textures and dimensions. The tall gold tree has a hammered appearance, while the three-dimensional white trees are slick and modern. And of course, you can never go wrong with a pop of black and white stripes. The gold and white garland is also part of the Modern Gold collection, and I love that it’s a bit of an unexpected addition to traditional Christmas decor.
I picked out my favorite, the Merry & Bright canvas from the Aspen Cove collection, and paired it with three gold finials from the Home for Christmas collection. Scale is so important in decor, and these finials are the perfect way to add height on a table or mantle.
And what is Christmas without stockings? I’m a sucker for black and white stripes, and I can’t get enough of fur these days!
When decorating for the holidays, one of my favorite ways to easily give a space a new look is by swapping out pillows. Fortunately, I found lots of modern glam pillow options tucked among the Christmas decor aisles.
I fell in hard for that front pillow, with its gold leaf appearance and soft, white yarn Christmas trees. And those sequined pillows are so much more than just shiny and pretty. Run you hand across them and they change colors. It’s magical! Watch this…
Seeing those glam pillows on the cow hide bench makes me almost giddy. I love that modern, eclectic mix, and now I’m pretty sure I’m going to need some cow hide in my house! I also added two tall candlesticks next to the bench to showcase a couple of Hobby Lobby’s very pretty battery operated candle options {although the white-on-white quatrefoil pattern of the back candle proved hard to capture in my photo}.
Finally, I have to show you my very favorite of all the Christmas decor at Hobby Lobby this season. It was a bit hard to photograph in its box, but I still think you’ll be able to appreciate this marquee star for all its gold fabulousness {yep, I did make up that word, but this star deserves it}.
Oh my gosh you guys. I just want to buy all things gold and white and glam this Christmas! I want to just start over in our with the holiday decor for our living room! I’m not sure yet which of these pieces will make their way into our house, but I’m hoping you have found a few things to inspire your holiday decor as well! If you see me at Hobby Lobby, I might have to fight you for that gold marquee star {#sorrynotsorry}!
