Blue i Style, a blog dedicated to all things home, provides readers with organizing tips and home decor tutorials to help families create happy homes that seamlessly blend style and function.
Blue i Style also provides a wide range of of interior decorating, consulting, and organizing services to fit any need and any budget.
I strongly believe that decor should be functional, organizing can be beautiful, smart DIYs help stretch your budget, and an organized and stylish home can still be practical for life with kids.
My work has been featured in print in Better Homes & Gardens and 5280 Home magazine, and online by HGTV, the Today Show, Good Housekeeping, and more.

In 2018, I was also honored to be named one of the Better Homes & Gardens Style Makers.
All Things With Style
I try to infuse style into all the things! Whether its decorating a room or organizing a closet, I am passionate about making everything more stylish.
I call my style Modern Graphic Family. While I realize that “family” isn’t a style in the traditional sense of the word, family has a huge impact on how I decorate and how we live in our home. Rather than hindering my style, I’ve learned to design with the kids in mind in a way that makes our home even more bold and fun! Life with kids is full of fun and craziness, but there is no reason it can’t also be practically stylish.
Additionally, many of my organizing projects are designed to help to calm the chaos that comes with raising kids. I hope that, along the way, I can help other parents to do the same!
I don’t share my projects because I expect everyone to love my personal style or to want to do projects just like mine. Instead, I hope that Blue i Style will encourage and inspire you to find what makes you happy, to infuse your own style throughout your home and life, and to create organized spaces that make your days run a bit smoother.
More About Angela
From a young age, I spent hours drawing houses and floor plans. I had aspirations of majoring in architecture, until it came to my attention in high school that architects also have to be concerned with physics and engineering of structures. That didn’t sound nearly as fun to me {although in retrospect, I think I would have enjoyed that too}. It wasn’t until I was in law school and rushing home from my contracts class every afternoon to watch Trading Spaces that I realized that some people actually do have careers in making spaces pretty, and that I might have missed my calling.
After practicing law for eight years, I founded Blue i Style in 2013 to share her passions with others. Since that time, Blue i Style has grown into a successful business that serves both readers and clients alike.
I live in Denver, Colorado, with my husband, Scott. I think part of the reason we get along so well is because we both have the left brain / right brain, analytical/creative thing going on. I’m an attorney turned decor blogger, and he splits his time between commercial real estate appraisal and being a professional musical theater actor. Our left brain / right brain balance is also reflected in our home. We both love things bold and colorful, but also streamlined and organized.
Together we have to two of the most adorable little boys in the world – Beckett who is 7, and Cooper who almost 6. And the newest addition to our family is a Schnoodle puppy, named Gatsby! We love city life, but also enjoy escaping to our favorite mountain town of Breckenridge as often as we can.
Want to know more about my family? I tend to keep my blog posts focused on decorating, organizing and DIYing, but everyone once in a while I do get a bit more personal. You can find those personal and family related posts here.

Helping Other Bloggers
I’ve been able to bring together my undergraduate degree in Management with my love of organization by helping other influencers learn how to organize the business aspects of their blog. I co-authored an eBook called, “How to Organize Your Blogging Business Without Losing Your Mind,” and I have taught classes on the same topic at the Haven Conference, SNAP Conference, and for the Denver Bloggers Club.
